Organized in 1923, the Holyoke Arts League is a non-profit organization. As its goals, the League seeks to bring to the community a broader appreciation of artistic values. It also tries to stimulate and encourage artists and potential artists to promote their art works in the community.
In order to accomplish its purpose, the League holds art lectures and demonstrations by professional and prominent local artists. The demonstrations are held on the last Friday of every month inside The Guilded Brick studio at 380 Dwight Street in Holyoke, Mass. one door down from Holyoke Cannabis.
We are also home to the GoFigure Drawing Studio a long-standing, women-led weekly open drawing studio. We’re proud to be one of the only figure studios in Hampden county, offering high-quality music and an inclusive space with professional audio equipment to our participants.
If you are interested in joining the Art League or in attending one of our events, please write to us at holyokeartsleague@gmail.com.
