The Holyoke League of Arts and Crafts (HAL) will hold our first meeting of the new year on Friday, January 27th, 2017 at 7 p.m. Join us at Dunphy Art Studio & Gallery, 80 Race Street in Holyoke, for a live demonstration by Peter Cangialosi.

Peter, a member and instructor of our GoFigure drawing group, is an accomplished printmaker and artist working out of Easthampton. He’s involved with the Zea Mays printmaking workshop in Florence, and he studied graphic design and illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). At our meeting, he’ll be demonstrating the process of creating a monotype print, and will have materials available for anyone who wants to try their hand at it themselves! We’ll also be going over some information for those want to participate in the spring HAL show at the Wistariahurst Museum.
